There is some light rain in the forecast, but according to the radar it looks harmless. Bring an umbrella and some rain boots. It will be fun! And just remember if it’s raining like crazy in Hendersonville, we have indoor backup there!

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re looking forward to seeing you on Soccer Island! See below for answers to some frequently asked questions about our intro-to-soccer programs!

Of course, if you still have a question not listed here, please email us at [email protected]!

Q – What happens if there is inclement weather? How will I know what the delay/make-up plan will be?

We communicate plans for inclement weather on the banner notification of our website (soccershots.com/asheville) and on Facebook. In the event of a total cancellation of a session, (generally) the missed week will be added to the end of the season.

Q – I’ve missed a session or two for vacation, sickness, or a family emergency. Can I make up for the missed session?

Absolutely! We publish a make-up calendar each season. Simply fill out the make-up form attached to the email when it is sent out to secure your make-up spot for the missed session.

Q – When will my child receive his/her jersey?

Youth jerseys are distributed once per school year and are included in the enrollment cost, regardless of the number of seasons you sign your child up for within that school year.

Jerseys are distributed via mail and addressed to the child. You will receive tracking information once the jersey has shipped to your address.

Please understand that if you enroll within two weeks of the season start date, your child is not guaranteed to receive their jersey before the first session.

If you have any questions about your child’s youth jersey shipment or would like to exchange sizes, please contact [email protected].

Q – What happens if my child’s jersey does not fit when it arrives?

If you need to exchange your child’s jerseys for a different size, please contact [email protected]. Please provide your name, your child’s name, your shipping address, the size you received, and the size you are requesting. You will receive a response within 1 business day. Please note jerseys must be in new condition with the tag still attached to be accepted as a return.

Q – Can my child be in the same class as a friend or sibling?

YES! Please include the sibling or friend in the question box prompted at enrollment.

Q – What equipment does my child need?

Your child’s coach will provide all the equipment needed for each session! Your child should wear activity-appropriate clothing. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary, but your child may wear them if you’d like. (Ages 6-8 will scrimmage so you may want them to wear shin guards).
