Soccer Shots is held at childcare centers, preschools, elementary schools, and public locations. Our public programs are open to the general public, unless specified for residents only, while our childcare center and school programs are only open to those enrolled at the location.
Soccer Shots provides all of the equipment needed at each of our sessions. Your child should wear whatever is most comfortable for them to be active. Cleats and shin guards are NOT necessary.
Yes! We are always willing to start a public program near you. The easiest way for this to happen is for you to form a group of eight children willing to take part in a Soccer Shots season. These could be children from your neighborhood, friends from church or synagogue, or your parent groups. We’re happy to help talk through ideas on how to make this happen. Send us an email at [email protected] if you’re interested!
Our weekly 30 or 45-minute sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.
Our weather makeups differ by location.
Our year-round schools will not typically have makeups. Parents are charged four times per month, so when a month has five weeks in it; that fifth week is used as a makeup or a free day.
Public programs will add 15 minutes to the following weeks to make up for a missed session.
Elementary school programs will add a week to the end of the season.
Preschool programs will typically add 15 minutes to the following weeks to make up for the missed session.
In the case of inclement weather, Soccer Shots will notify you of any cancelations via email and text as soon as possible. We generally try to notify you of cancelations at least 1 hour before the start of the session, but pop-up storms are common. We will usually try to play through inclement weather if it is just rain.
