I can type and knit with my eyes closed
I started playing soccer as soon as I could walk growing up in England. I played for my High School team on the wing and then at Club level into my early thirties. When we immigrated to the USA, my kids where 5 & 3, they started playing for West Chester United and somehow I slipped into Coaching, which i still love. My Kids Preschool had Soccer Shots, which they loved and at a back to school night, I started talking to Doug Schneider and he invited me to assist him Coaching, way back in 2004. I fell in love with the program and Doug’s upbeat way of Coaching and have not looked back since.
I don’t speak Americanish.
I grew up in Lancaster County. I played soccer in high school and field hockey in college. I taught 2nd grade and led many community projects in the city of Chester while living there for 14 years. After getting married, I moved to Chester County and am now currently teaching preschool in Wayne, PA. I have 2 boys both in the Great Valley School district.
I completed a marathon and triathlon
I grew up loving to play soccer and continued to play competitively on school and travel teams through high school. Soccer taught me determination and developed my confidence. I love coaching because I enjoy teaching and sharing my enthusiasm with others. I believe that every young soccer player should have a positive and fun environment to learn and grow.
One of my favorite shows at Walt Disney World is Finding Nemo The Musical.
