CJSA AND SOCCER SHOTS OF CONNECTICUT ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
West Hartford, CT, December 12, 2019– Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) and Soccer Shots Connecticut (CT) will be partnering to bring soccer programming to children ages two through five this winter. The clinics will be held at All Access Sports in Plainville, CT Saturday mornings starting with an open house on February 1 from 9 am – 10 am.
The CJSA-Soccer Shots partnership will enable CJSA to offer Soccer Shots programs to CJSA member clubs for children age 2 to 5 to, creating a participant pipeline for CJSA member clubs. Once participants age out of Soccer Shots, they can move on to the local club programs for more competitive play.
This partnership is resulting from US Youth Soccer – the largest youth sports organization in the country with over 6,000 local clubs in 55 state associations – naming Soccer Shots the official two to five-year-old soccer program of US Youth Soccer in December 2017.
“Soccer Shots is a recognized leader in child development soccer for boys and girls ages 2-5,” Josh, Krusewski, Executive Director said. “Both of our organizations share a common mission, which is to impact and foster the development of youth through soccer.
“Soccer Shots is thrilled to collaborate with CJSA via the US Youth Soccer partnership and be endorsed for soccer programming for children ages two to five-years-old,” commented Shannon Perry, Executive Director. “This collaboration with CJSA lays the foundation to increase participation in the sport among young children across the CT. The CJSA value set aligns perfectly with Soccer Shots and we look forward to supporting local clubs and being an entry point for young children to their local clubs”.
