I have enjoyed sports all my life including track & field, basketball & soccer in high school and on the women’s rugby team at the University of Illinois.  I am an adapted PE teacher and have taught general education, bilingual education and health. My goal is to help children learn the basic skills of soccer, but more importantly about their physical, emotional and social health.

Growing up, watching soccer with my family was always a highlight! I played on a travel team in middle school for a short time and was also very active with dance.  As an adult, much of my career has been spent working with children in various positions including a daycare teacher, dance instructor, private kindergarten teacher, and I received my CDA in the mid 2000’s.  I joined Soccer Shots in 2017 as a Coach and Program Director. More recently, I started working with dogs as a Dog Trainer. Currently, I am a coach, an Administrator, and Coaching Coordinator for Soccer Shots. I am excited to be coaching again for such an amazing company and am very passionate about working with this age group. I look forward to teaching your children the great sport of soccer!

I have been playing Soccer since I was 4 year olds and played all the way through college and a little after. I started coaching right after college and have been with Soccer Shots for the past 5 years. I love seeing the joy on the children’s faces when they learn something new or do a move they thought was too hard. When I’m not playing Soccer, I’m fishing, hiking or spending time with my family.

I’ve played soccer for many years and played on a club for a few years but then stopped once I got into high school to try out different sports. I still love the sport and will play every now and then. I’m also a youth group leader at my church and I volunteer as a volleyball coach for middle schoolers so I love hanging out with young children! Helping them become their best also helps me grow as a person.

I’m from the western suburbs of Chicago and after being a stay at home Mom for 15 years, I thought it was time to get back into the real world.  Before becoming a Mom of 2 beautiful and sassy daughters, I had 8 babies or 15 3-year-olds at a childcare center in Oak Brook. I’m looking forward to this new adventure with Soccer Shots and glad I get to play soccer with your kids!!! Thank you so much!

I started my soccer career when I was about 4 years old playing for GSSA which is a youth league in Cincinnati, Ohio (my hometown). I then started playing club soccer for CUP (Cincinnati United Premiere) and also played high school soccer for Sycamore High School. I had my heart set on playing soccer in college so I went to Northern Illinois University to pursue that dream. I happened upon a very unique opportunity and ended up running track at NIU as well. I am now a retired athlete and am taking a break from the competitive atmosphere but I would like to do triathlons or maybe marathons in my future. My goal for being a Soccer Shots coach is to help cultivate the love for soccer in the kids that I am interacting with. I want to be someone who inspires their love for soccer, it means so much to me when I watch kids fall in love with soccer the way I did when I was their age.

I have played soccer since I was 4 years old, playing all through elementary school and then started playing club soccer for Synergy Soccer Club until my Junior year of High School. I also played 4 years of varsity soccer for Wheaton North High School and currently play for the Women’s team at Wheaton College. I have been a kids camp counselor and staff team member in the past, which involved coaching sports and organizing/leading activities for the children. I love children and love having the opportunity to teach them. I am excited to have the chance to make a difference in these children’s lives and be the most positive influence on them that I can!

I have been involved in organized sports since the age of 4 and soccer has always been my passion. I grew up in a soccer family and played through my high school graduation. My experience working with kids started with my time in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Upon completion of my Eagle Scout Award, I transitioned into a mentor-ship role with the BSA and have worked with youth from across the country. My goal as a Soccer Shots coach is to spread the joy of the game of soccer. I want to teach kids new skills and watch them gain confidence in themselves.
