Frequently Asked Questions

Where can my child participate in Soccer Shots?

Soccer Shots is held at childcare centers, preschools and schools, as well as public locations. Our public programs are open to the general public while our childcare center and school programs are only open to those enrolled at the location. Check out our current programs here.

What type of equipment will my child need to participate?

Soccer Shots provides all of the equipment needed at each of our sessions. Your child should wear activity-appropriate clothing. Cleats and shin guards are NOT necessary. Sneakers are great for our program.

How do I know the locations of the park programs?

To find public programs in your area, select Enroll Now at the top of this page.

Can I have Soccer Shots start a park program near me?

Yes! We are always willing to start a public program near you. The easiest way for this to happen is for you to form a group of eight children willing to take part in a Soccer Shots season. These could be children from your neighborhood, friends from church or synagogue, or your parent groups. We’re happy to help talk through ideas on how to make this happen. Please contact us at [email protected].

What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

Our weekly 30-45 minute sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. We also highlight a positive character trait each session such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.

What happens if a session is cancelled due to inclement weather?

Soccer Shots attempts to make up missed sessions during the season by either adding an additional week to the season, adding time to sessions, or choosing a make-up day. If more than two sessions are missed in a season, we cannot guarantee the ability to schedule a makeup.

How do I know if a session is cancelled due to in inclement weather?

In the case of inclement weather, Soccer Shots will post an alert on this website as well as on our Facebook page. An email and/or text will follow with the cancellation and makeup details. We do play in light rain and coaches often make on-field weather decisions. We do our best to make initial decisions by 3:45 pm on weeknights and 8:00 am on Saturday mornings.

What is your refund policy?

In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and also our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for credits and refunds:

All Seasons: We are hopeful and planning that all Soccer Shots seasons will be able to be completed in person. However, in the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will replace up to three sessions with Soccer Shots On-The-Go Live via Zoom. After three live Zoom sessions, parents/guardians will have the option to continue with zoom sessions or receive a credit for the remaining sessions. Credits will only be offered if more than three sessions are canceled due to local and/or federal restrictions. Credits must be requested via email to [email protected] and will be processed into a parent/guardian’s Soccer Shots account. Credits can be used at any future site or season within our Lancaster & Lebanon territory and may be used for any child. We will not issue any refunds related to not being able to continue with Soccer Shots in-person sessions.

  • If our site partner would cease our use of their property, we would make all attempts to find another close-by location to continue in-person sessions. If not possible, we would move forward with our policy above.
  • Schools and Childcare Locations: In the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot be completed due to local or federal restrictions, we will work with each location to implement an alternative plan. If the season cannot be completed, we will issue a credit for the remaining sessions.
  • Withdrawal: We do not offer refunds at any time. If you are requesting a withdrawal from a class at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the season, we will allow a credit for a future season. If your request is less than 2 weeks prior to the start of season, you can receive a credit for a future season minus a $25 processing fee. Once the season has started, we do not offer credits. All requests for credits for sessions prior to the start of the season must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected]
  • Enrollment Fee: There is no refund of the enrollment fee that is charged once every school year (August 1 – July 31)

Failure to Attend – No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend a make-up class.

Will my child get a Soccer Shots jersey?

If you enroll your child in Soccer Shots to participate in anywhere from one to multiple seasons of Soccer Shots throughout a year, your child will receive a youth jersey. Youth jerseys are distributed one time per year and are included in the cost of enrollment, regardless of the number of seasons you sign your child up for within that year.

Jerseys are distributed via mail and addressed to the child. You will receive tracking information once the jersey has shipped to your address.

Please understand that if you enroll within two weeks of the season start date, your child is not guaranteed to receive their jersey before the first session.

Should you have any questions about your child’s youth jersey shipment, or if you would like to exchange sizes, please contact [email protected].

Please note, some Soccer Shots programs do not include jerseys, such as birthday parties, demos, free play days and school-paid sessions.

Who do I contact if I need to exchange my child’s jersey for a different size?

If you need to exchange your child’s jersey for a different size, please contact [email protected]. Please provide your name, your child’s name, your shipping address, the size you received and the size you are requesting. You will receive a response within 1 business day that will include a prepaid return label.

Please return your jersey as soon as possible. After we receive confirmation that the jersey has shipped, we will send you your requested exchange jersey. Please note, jerseys must be in new condition with the tag still attached to be accepted as a return.
