ISLAND TREES SOCCER CLUB AND SOCCER SHOTS OF LONG ISLAND WEST ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LEVITTOWN, N.Y. –  Island Trees Soccer Club and Soccer Shots of Long Island West have entered a partnership that establishes Soccer Shots as the official two to four-year-old soccer program of Island Trees Soccer Club. The partnership enables Island Trees Soccer Club to offer Soccer Shots programs on-site, creating a participant pipeline for Island Trees Soccer Club. Once participants age out of Soccer Shots, they can move on to Island Trees Soccer Club’s programs for more competitive play.

This partnership is a natural fit, as Island Trees is a member of US Youth Soccer – the largest youth sports organization in the country with over 6,000 local clubs in 55 state associations. Soccer Shots was named as the organization’s official two to five-year-old soccer program partner in December 2017.

Aimed at positively impacting children’s lives, Soccer Shots strives to be the best part of a child’s week through best-in-class coaching, communication and curriculum. Serving children ages two through eight, the program features professional coaches in the community, an exceptional customer experience including ongoing communication and an expert-approved curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards.

“Soccer Shots is a recognized leader in child development soccer for boys and girls ages 2-5,” Phil Goldberg, President said. “Both of our organizations share a common mission, which is to impact and foster the development of youth through soccer. Therefore, there is a great opportunity and potential within this collaboration to continue to spread the impact of soccer to even more youth.”

“Our team is thrilled to collaborate with Island Trees Soccer Club through the US Youth Soccer partnership and for the endorsement we’ve received for our soccer programming for children ages two to four-years-old,” commented Alex Gallego, Executive Director of Soccer Shots of Island West. “This collaboration lays the foundation to increase participation in the sport among young children across the Nassau County region.”
