Level II Coach
Coach Sean grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida and he is excited to be working with all the soccer friends in Southwest Florida! He started playing soccer when he was sixteen and has loved it ever since. Coach Sean is attending Florida Gulf Coast University in hopes to become a Physical Therapist. Coach Sean loves running, volunteering as an athletic trainer, and watching his favorite soccer club Orlando City play!

Level II Coach
Coach Connor was born and raised in Maryland where he grew up playing soccer at the highest level, playing for and competing against the top ranked teams in the country. He loves being able to coach and teach the game as much as he enjoys playing it. In addition to soccer, Coach Connor is a musician playing multiple instruments and even writing his own music and helping others to write and create music. Coach Connor loves to be out on soccer island teaching and enjoying the beautiful game!

Level II Coach
Coach Beth was born and raised in Ohio. Since the age of 5, she was very active in soccer, softball and basketball, but her passion has always been playing soccer. In high school, she was a starter for the varsity squad all four years. Her love for the game did not stop after high school as she went on to coach soccer for 8 years. She always dreamed of working with young children and having a positive impact on their lives. Coaching on Soccer Island is a dream come true!
Level II Coach
Coach Holly was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. She is excited that SouthWest Florida has a fun, new, and exciting soccer program for the youth. She played soccer competitively during her Middle School years and continues to play recreationally to this day. Coach Holly is passionate about education, and also spends her time teaching acting to students ages 8-18 in Lee County. She enjoys acting, crocheting, and reading!

Level I Coach
Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. Soccer has been everything to me since I was 5 years old, playing with friends in the streets are the most fun memories I have.
My father was the one that encouraged me and pushed me to be better player every day.. I coached for the first time in my uncle’s team when I graduated from high school and back then I felt like I found what I loved.. I came to the states around 3 years ago, that has been challenging but one of the biggest blessings in my life. I have had the opportunity to live in 3 different states here and I have met a lot of nice people. Apart of coaching Im passionate to work with the community and help people that has special needs.
Level I Coach
Juan was born in Chile and moved to south Florida at the age of 7. Soccer has always been a part of his life. Juan is married to a wonderful wife named Jenna. Juan spends his free time playing and training his Australian Shepherd Bonni and his defiant cat named Leo. He also love fishing and exercising in particular running.
Coach Robert grew up in Cape Coral, Florida. He grew up playing soccer since middle school and played all throughout high school. He is currently in school to get a degree in Early Childhood Education. Coach Robert loves coaching and making a positive impact on children!
Coach CeCe was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. She played soccer when she was younger and never thought anything of it until she found out about Soccer Shots! Coach CeCe is grateful for the opportunity that comes with coaching soccer. On soccer island, she looks forward to making a positive impact on the next generation! Though she is a soccer coach during the day, she is a musician at night and plays the bass guitar whenever she gets the chance!
Coach Gwen was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and now goes to Florida Gulf Coast University studying exercise science. She is so excited to be able to work with the soccer friends and make a positive impact! She grew up competitively swimming and has hopes of becoming an athletic trainer in the future. She has been a swim coach in the past and would love to continue to impact kids throughout her life! Along with coaching, she loves to stay active and be outside as well as baking and singing.
Coach Cassie was born and raised in Ohio, playing soccer since she was 3 years old. Coach Cassie was also involved in basketball and track throughout high school. She played one year of collegiate soccer until she suffered a long-term injury. Coach Cassie graduated from the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio with a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience and Biology in December of 2020. Coach Cassie will begin to pursue graduate coursework summer of 2021. Coach Cassie is very excited to be coaching and to meet so many soccer friends, as her love for the game has never left! Coach Cassie is passionate about mental health and traveling, and loves spending time with her family.
Coach Malana was born in North Carolina and moved to Cape Coral Florida in 2013. She began playing soccer at 5 years old and enjoyed coaching younger soccer teams throughout high school. She enjoys making a positive impact on younger athletes and watching them grow in the sport. She spends her free time at the beach and fishing and looks forward to seeing everyone on soccer island!
Coach John is a fourth generation Southwest Floridian, he was born and raised in Cape Coral. He played youth soccer from the ages of 5-15. He has experience as a PE teacher and middle school soccer coach. When he was teaching PE, Coach John was often praised for his strong relationships he build with his students and the high energy and enthusiasm he brought to his classes. Along with soccer, Coach John is into many other sports, primarily bowling and basketball. He also enjoys making art in his free time, Coach John likes to draw portraits and paint in both traditional media and digital art.
Coach Brianna grew up in our hometown of Fort Myers, FL. She recently got her daughter involved in the program. When she spoke about her appreciation on how we implement character building and basic soccer skills in the program with director mike, he brought up about employment openings. She saw that this is an opportunity to help guide the younger generation like her daughter rose to learn and respect one another while having fun outside. She is excited to take on this opportunity while going to school at FSW for her associates in Environmental Science. If she isn’t on the field or in her books you’ll see her at the beach, in a kayak, or on her bike.
Level I Coach / Media Coordinator
Coach Britney also know as “Coach B” was born in Illinois and raised in South Florida and has played sports her whole life! Coach B attended Barry University where she was an all conference division 2 softball player! She has three kids who she enjoys taking to their soccer games cheering them on from the sidelines; Coach B enjoys going to the gym, hiking with her family, and most of all, making every child she coaches feel known and loved.
Director of Coaching
Coach Carlos was born in Naples, Florida but was raised in Brownsville, Texas. He began playing soccer since the age of 3 playing in tournaments all over Texas, Mexico, and in Florida at the IMG academy. He graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. Coach Carlos, played in high school, college, and in a semi-professional soccer team after his collegiate career was over in Texas. He was the team captain in all three teams respectively. While in college, he was a scholar athlete and received all conference and all tournament team honors. Coach Carlos, became a PE teacher at an elementary school before moving to Florida and has a passion for working with children. He hopes to make a positive impact not only with the children but in the community as well.

Coach Sarah can’t wait to meet all of her new soccer friends out on Soccer Island! Coach Sarah grew up in Southwest Florida and currently lives in Fort Myers. She started playing soccer at 5 years old out at Bayshore, and she continued to play through high school where she was the starting varsity goalie all four years. She played various levels of soccer during her career, but her most favorite thing about soccer is making new friends, learning new skills, and having fun. Some of her favorite things to do are baking and cooking for others, going to Disney World with her best friend, and watching movies.

A native South Floridian, Walter graduated from Florida State University earning a B.S. in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Management. For the last 14 years he has served his community as both a Firefighter for the Iona McGregor Fire District and youth soccer coach for children playing at the recreation and club level. Through coaching he has experienced the joy of the game and the lasting positive impacts it has on children. He believes that Soccer Shots provides the perfect opportunity to continue building stronger youth beyond the game. In his spare time, he loves to play with bunny rabbits and knit mittens. He also enjoys frolicking through his neighborhood looking for unicorns. Coach Walter can be found seeking outdoor adventure on local trails, tinkering in his garage, or hanging out with his wife Britney and three children, Jayda, Walter, and Kennedy at the park.

Mike was born and raised in Fort Myers, FL. He graduated from UCF earning a B.A. in Graphic Design. He was a stay home Dad for 12 years with his twin boys, Keller and Luke who are 16 years old and also love soccer! Mike has played soccer his whole life and has coached sports at different levels for over 25 years. He loves teaching the valuable life lessons that come from playing team sports and is always looking for opportunities to grow. Mike is very involved in the Church and is passionate about serving the Lord both locally and globally. He believes in the power of teams, is constantly building relationships and loves being a part of the Soccer Shots community. Mike is passionate about leadership development, creating positive cultures and encouraging others! His favorite football team is Liverpool FC – YNWA!
