Coach Mark Wilson grew up in Miami Florida where he played competitive club soccer at K-Land and high school soccer at Miami Killian Highschool. Coach Wilson was awarded a D1 soccer scholarship at the University of Monroe. He graduated from ULM with a BFA majoring in Advertising Design and minoring in Ceramics and Photography. He has 17 years soccer experience holding positions as Club President, Director of Coaching, Director of Youth Academy and Coaching Education, Olympic Development Program coach, State Coaching Instructor, and Competitive Coach. He holds a United Soccer Coaches “Director of Coaching Diploma”, United Soccer Coaches “Advanced National Diploma”, United Soccer Coaches “Goal Keeper Level 1&2” Diploma, USSF “C” License, USSF National “Y” (Youth) License and is a USSF “B” License candidate. He is married and has 2 girls. Coach Wilson is passionate about educating coaches and player development.
