National Soccer Day
Every July, soccer fans around the world celebrate National Soccer Day – a day that highlights the incredible impact one sport can have on so many, bringing together communities, families, and players of all ages.
At Soccer Shots, National Soccer Day reminds us why we do what we do. Soccer is more than just kicking a ball. It’s how we make a positive, lasting difference in children’s lives every day. Through each session, our coaches help children ages 18 months to 8 years old build character, develop confidence, and form friendships that extend far beyond the field. This day is the perfect opportunity to reflect on our mission and celebrate this beloved game and all it represents.
National Free Fun Days: Celebrating 20 Years of Soccer Shots
This year, we had even more to celebrate. In honor of our 20th birthday, we hosted National Free Fun Days across North America in the days leading up to National Soccer Day. These events gave children and families the chance to join in the fun on Soccer Island, completely free of charge.
From first kicks and big goals to high fives and even bigger smiles, every event was filled with laughter, excitement, and, of course, tons of FUN! We were thrilled to welcome so many families – many for the first time – to experience Soccer Shots and be part of this momentous occasion. Our coaches, staff, and teammates had a blast helping kids build soccer skills through action-packed, imaginative activities.
