Anthony & Alison Morici are the Owner Operators of Soccer Shots Ocean (2012), Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Salem (2018), Morris (2022) and Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex (2023) counties. Anthony and Alison are Jersey raised, Nyack College sweethearts (New York) who married in 1996. They moved to Ocean County in 1999. Together they have four sons: Soren (23) a Rutgers University grad, beloved Soccer Shots coach, with a full time career in Computer Engineering in Arlington Virginia. Levi (21) is a student at Montclair State University attaining a BFA in Technical Theater and pursing Lighting and Set Design. Hudson (19) is a student at Gordon College, on the North Shore of Massachusetts studying Kinesiology. Maximo (15) is a Sophmore at Barnegat High School, and after 12 years of playing soccer switched to American football after saying “Dad, I just want to hit people!” Max was playing middle linebacker before now solely focusing his talents on Volleyball and was part of the first Soccer Shots class in Ocean County.

Coach Chelsie, a proud graduate from Crystal River, FL, has a diverse background shaped by experiences all over. With an impressive 22-year soccer journey, she also excelled in track and field and basketball during her high school years. Beyond sports, Chelsie's favorite pastimes include exercising, quality family time, and a deep love for all things Disney. Her academic pursuits led her to study Elementary Education and Criminal Justice at the University of North Florida. Chelsie is not only dedicated to her professional life but also finds joy and fulfillment in her role as a mother to Peyton and a happily married wife to her husband Louis. Sue Fraim, originally from Livingston, NJ, and raised in Middletown, NJ, made Barnegat her home with her husband and young family in 2005. She has a diverse range of interests, finding joy both at the beach and in the mountains of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Sue is an avid baseball fan, particularly passionate about the New York Yankees. In her free time, she indulges in cooking and crafting. Following high school, Sue pursued business school with a focus on Hotel and Restaurant Management. Her well-rounded background contributes to her engaging and dynamic approach to coaching. Coach Soren, a Rutgers University graduate with double majors in Computer Engineering and Computer Science, brings a unique blend of technical expertise and creative flair to the Soccer Shots team. Beyond his impressive coding skills, Soren has a passion for theater and enjoys spending time playing games with his seven younger cousins and siblings. Soren's coaching philosophy revolves around encouragement and creativity, fostering a collaborative spirit on Soccer Island. His patience extends to beginners and seasoned players alike, making him adept at handling the diverse challenges of coaching. I let them know I understand knocking the cones down is fun, and I know it's fun to run around. I also say, 'I have a lot of fun things planned too, but if we keep doing this, we won't have enough time to do the rest of the fun stuff I wanted to share with you. Do you want to play soccer with me?' Rather than forcing them to play, I eagerly welcome them back to Soccer Island!" Moise graduated high school and pursued a four-year education at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Despite being married, he does not have children of his own. Lauren, a native of Robbinsville, NJ, has been contributing to youth sports through Soccer Shots since the fall of '22. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, Law, & Society, and she further pursued her education with a Master's in Criminal Justice. Hailing originally from Honduras but raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Hector brings a wealth of experience in youth soccer to Soccer Shots. His journey in sports began at the age of 8, where he immersed himself in competitive youth soccer. Currently, Hector continues his soccer journey at the college level while also dedicating time to coaching. Beyond the field, Hector finds joy in building Legos and honing his soccer skills through training sessions. Academically, Hector is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, building a foundation for his future career. She is currently a freshman at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, studying Marketing and American Studies, with plans to graduate in 2028. Meet Rachel from Morristown, NJ! Originally born in Doylestown, PA, she has a unique background in working with children, including volunteering with a children's occupational therapist and instructing youth horse riding for both groups and individuals. Rachel loves hiking, baking, and crochet. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Southampton in the UK. She and her husband make up her family. Meet Henry from Pennington, NJ! He has been passionate about soccer since he was six years old. He started with rec soccer at his elementary school, even participating in Soccer Shots as a kid. He continued playing for both his school and club teams throughout his childhood and just wrapped up his senior season on the varsity soccer team at Princeton Day School. Meet Nick from Seoul, South Korea! While he doesn’t have experience in youth sports, he has worked extensively with children through tutoring programs, summer camps, and pediatric hospital units. Nick loves playing soccer, cooking, running, and playing video games. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Johns Hopkins University and is currently a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Meet Oluwapelumi from Providence, RI! With a background in both playing and coaching soccer, he brings valuable experience to working with young players. Oluwapelumi enjoys playing soccer and cooking in his free time. He holds an undergraduate degree and comes from a big family with his parents, three brothers, and two sisters. Meet Abdulsami from Los Angeles, CA, and Karachi, PK! Having played soccer all his life, he brings both passion and experience to coaching. In addition to his soccer background, he has worked with children in summer schools and preschools, making his experience with young learners extensive. Abdulsami enjoys playing soccer, tennis, and golf. When he's not on the field or the court, he loves spending time with his two dogs. Meet Emma from Ewing, NJ! Growing up, she played rec sports throughout her childhood, with her father coaching her soccer teams. Emma enjoys drawing, playing soccer, and even giving tattoos—whether to others or herself! She graduated from Ewing High School in 2022 and is currently attending Mercer County Community College. Alongside playing, she’s also built up great experience working with children through lifeguarding and community service at a local elementary school. She’s currently a high school senior and loves staying active—especially when the weather’s nice! When she’s not playing soccer or exercising, she enjoys helping others and spending time with her family, including her mom, dad, and younger brother. Anna’s advice for parents of struggling Soccer Shots players? “Talk with your child about why they may be having a hard time. Remind them that we, as coaches, always have their best interest at heart and are here to help them grow and improve.” Why she’s excited to be a part of Soccer Shots: “I love working with kids and helping them grow and learn. Meet Elizabeth from Haddon Heights, NJ! While she’s new to youth soccer, Elizabeth brings a wide range of experience from other sports like field hockey, tennis, and track—and she's excited to bring that same energy and love for athletics to the Soccer Shots field! Outside of coaching, she enjoys hitting the gym, spending quality time with friends and family, and getting creative with crafts. Elizabeth is currently pursuing a degree in Business and Data Analytics at Rider University. She’s the oldest sibling in her family, with two younger sisters and two younger cousins she’s super close to. Her best advice for parents of struggling Soccer Shots players? “Be positive and give constructive yet gentle feedback! When kids feel encouraged, they’re more open to learning and more excited to play.” Why does she work for Soccer Shots? “I want kids to have something to look forward to every week and help them grow—not only as soccer players, but as individuals too!”

Meet William from Lambertville, NJ! With a background in camp counseling, coaching, and volunteering, William thrives when helping children learn new skills in a fun, engaging environment. He’s passionate about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and keeping kids active through sports. In his free time, William enjoys playing basketball with friends, watching movies, and working out. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Communication and is starting his Master’s in School Counseling at TCNJ this fall. His best advice for parents of struggling Soccer Shots players? “Every child learns and grows at their own pace. The most important thing is to encourage effort and celebrate small victories. Remind them to have fun, try their best, and stay positive—confidence comes with time!” Why does he work for Soccer Shots? “I love being part of a team that helps children grow, learn, and have fun through sports. It's rewarding to help young players build confidence, develop new skills, and create positive memories that will stick with them.”

Meet Coach Lucas! Born and raised in Pennington, NJ, Coach Lucas brings a strong background in competitive youth sports, including AAA hockey with the Mercer Chiefs and USA Hockey Development Program, AA lacrosse with Tri-State, and NPL soccer with NLSA. He’s passionate about sports, the outdoors, and education—whether learning or teaching. Lucas holds a high school diploma (Class of 2022) and is currently working toward his bachelor’s degree. Best advice for parents of struggling Soccer Shots players: Patience, positive encouragement, thoughtful accommodation, and connecting soccer to the child’s personal interests can go a long way in helping them grow.
