Growing up in a military family, Anthony had the chance to experience a multitude of cultures from across the globe. As a child up until high school, Anthony traveled across North and Central America and Europe. Outside of family, Soccer provided Anthony with the most impactful sense of belonging, community, and fulfillment. After leaving Europe, he attended college in Boston at Suffolk University. He earned his business degree and graduated with a BSBA in Accounting and a minor in IT. Boston provided a new community in which to thrive, and most importantly, it's where he fell in love. After spending the last decade in the Finance and Accounting field, he wants to dedicate his time to providing the children of Metro-North Massachusetts the skills, confidence, and community that Soccer gave to him. Anthony hopes all children enrolled in Soccer shots enjoy the ideals of team building, camaraderie, and friendship so necessary to healthy childhood development.
Lifelong soccer and Liverpool FC fan Coach Sam is so excited to share a love of the beautiful game with all of our soccer friends! After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of West Florida, Sam spent a year working in educational theatre nationwide before moving to MA. Entertaining kids and teaching them how to be good stewards of their communities is what it’s all about. Coach Sam is proud to join Soccer Shots to help develop confidence and passion on Soccer Island!
Coach Gianna was born and raised in Dudley, MA, where she played and coached soccer for the past 18 years. She recently moved to the Boston area to get her Master's degree in Social Work at Salem State University and is enjoying her time getting to explore the area. After making the switch from playing to coaching soccer in the past two years, Coach Gianna has seen how impactful a supportive and fun coaching environment can be, which makes her very excited to be a part of Soccer Shots!
“and super instructors!“
“and Coach Leo is the best coach. He always tries to re-engage kids when their attention may be on something else or if they run off the field. He takes the time to make them feel welcome and comfortable.“
“So patient and sweet! They take the time to include every kid, work with their strengths and work on their weaknesses!“
“We’ve had three different coaches since we started Soccer Shots, and all of them have been great instructors, remembered the kids’ names, and did an excellent job getting all of the kids to participate. We’ve already recommended to several friends“
