Born and raised in Mishawaka, soccer has been a continuous life journey for Steve. After playing soccer at Bethel College, Steve went on to coach at Penn High School as an assistant girls’ coach and later as the head boys’ coach. In 2005, he joined the staff at Bethel College to serve as the assistant women’s coach, which led to him taking over the reigns as head coach in 2010. Steve spent 10 years in an elementary gymnasium teaching Phys. Ed. Now he is using his past teaching experience and his passion for soccer to bring Soccer Shots to South Bend and the surrounding communities. In 2022, the opportunity was presented to take over ownership of the Northwest Indiana territory, and it only made sense to expand the potential to impact the lives of more children throughout all of Northern Indiana Steve lives in Osceola with his amazing wife, Erica, and children, Harper and Hudson.

Hi! I’m Taylor. I grew up in Dayton, Ohio and have lived in Indiana for the past 15 years. I enjoy playing soccer, listening to music, reading, and taking walks outdoors. It is a delight to have the opportunity to combine my love for soccer with my passion for providing children a positive and safe place to learn and grow. Nice to meet you!

Hi I'm Coach Nick! I grew up in Munster and have been playing soccer for about 15 years. I have been with Soccer Shots for 2 years and have loved every minute of it. For fun I play soccer in some leagues and enjoy spending time with my dog. The best part of coaching is seeing the kids grow and develope a relationship with the coaches and really come out of their shell. It is truly amazing to be able to help impact so many kids lives and help introduce them to soccer!!!

Hi I'm Coach Allan. I am from a small town in the UK called Scarborough and have been in the US since September 2019 and coaching with Soccer Shots since January 2020. I have my USA Soccer National D Coaching Licence since Summer last year. When I am not coaching I enjoy running, playing pickleball walking my dog and reading. The best thing about coaching for me is when that shy quiet kiddo scores their first goal, gives that first big smile and high 5!! Looking forward to seeing everyone on Soccer Island soon!!

Hi, I’m Coach Sam and I'm originally from Spring Arbor, Michigan. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old. My passion for soccer and sports in general sent me to Huntington University where I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Sports and Recreation Ministry. When I graduated from Huntington I moved down to Panama City, FL for 7 years. Family brought me back to Fort Wayne where I found Soccer Shots! I love getting to use both my passion for inspiring young children and my passion for the game of soccer every day!

Hi, I’m Coach Rachel and I'm originally from Holly, Michigan, but now I live in Fort Wayne. Soccer has always been a part of my life, and the pursuit of playing college soccer is what brought me to Huntington, Indiana. My soccer career has given me a passion for teaching and instilling the same passion I have for the game into the next generation of players.

Hi, my name is Imani! I played soccer for 9 years. When I am not playing soccer I enjoy going to concerts, playing my violin and eating g my favorite food which is french toast sticks. Soccer is a big passion of mine and I'm so excited to help kids learn the game I love so much.

Hi I’m coach Brittany! I grew up in Lafayette Indiana, where I was a preschool teacher for ten years. I pivoted to soccer shots while in Lafayette, just needed a break from the classroom atmosphere. I ended up falling in love with the soccer shots program! I played soccer as a child so it’s awesome being able to use those skills now. Through soccer shots I am able to play a key role in encouraging the growth of our youth! I have a great passion with working with the young youth, helping them learn and grow! I recently moved to the northwest region and joined soccer shots here! In my spare time I love to be outside, go on hikes, go camping, and spending time with family! I look forward to meeting you on soccer island!

Hi, I’m Coach Camille and I’m originally from St. Johns, MI. I have played soccer since I was a little girl and always dreamed of playing collegiate soccer. This dream led me to Purdue Northwest where I played Division II soccer for 4 years while studying to become a special education teacher. After college, I stayed in the area and obtained my first teaching job, but didn’t want to give up soccer. I decided to pursue both of my passions, soccer and teaching kids, and start coaching at Soccer Shots!

Hi, I’m Coach Haley! I’ve lived in Lowell, IN for as long as I can remember and have been an athlete my entire life. I competed in track and field at the Division 1 level for Purdue Fort Wayne, but my athletic journey actually started with soccer—the first sport I truly felt good at before transitioning to track in high school. I found Soccer Shots while searching for coaching jobs, and I love that I get to teach young athletes about the game of soccer while sharing my passion for sports and movement!

Hi, I am Coach Braelyn. I am a student at Valparaiso High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I really enjoy playing soccer and sharing my love for the game with younger kids. Outside of soccer I am Junior Class President and I also run track.
