Hi! We’re Erin and Chad Smith, proud owners of Soccer Shots The Woodlands/Spring, TX. Our journey with Soccer Shots began with Chad, a Houston native who grew up playing for local club teams and later played professional soccer for many years. Chad’s love for the game and passion for character-building through sport laid the foundation for what Soccer Shots has become in our community. Erin brings a background in education and organizational leadership, with a deep focus on building strong teams and creating impactful learning environments. Her experience helps ensure our program runs with excellence, integrity, and a heart for both children and families. Most importantly, we’re the proud parents of two Soccer Shots-aged children who are active participants in the program. Experiencing Soccer Shots both as owners and parents gives us a unique and personal perspective on the value it brings to young players—and to the families who cheer them on. We’re honored to bring the Soccer Shots experience to our community and hope to see your little one out on the field soon!

Hi, I’m Luis Mata! I was born in Mexico City and moved to Texas 14 years ago. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life—whether I’m watching a match, cheering in the stands, or playing on the field, the game has been my passion since I was a kid. In 2019, I started my journey with Soccer Shots, and it immediately felt like home. I love being part of the Soccer Shots family—sharing the joy of the game, building connections with my “soccer friends,” and bringing energy, fun, and learning to every session on Soccer Island. Outside of Soccer Shots, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife and our dog—going for walks at the park or watching soccer together. I’m a proud supporter of FC Barcelona and Chivas. I also coach high school players in the evenings, helping them grow both on and off the field. I’m very excited to step into my new role as Partner Services Coordinator at Soccer Shots Woodlands. If you see me on Soccer Island or at a school, don’t hesitate to say hi to me!
