Our weekly 25-30 minute sessions focus on basic soccer skills. You can expect a fun and engaging curriculum, a caring and encouraging coach, and plenty of high-fives and FUN! Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active.
We have many class locations to offer convenient locations to ensure convenience for your family, and we are always looking to add more! Click the "Enroll Now" button to find a location near you.
With classes that meet weekly, our programs offer convenient class times and consecutive age groups for multiple kids, ensuring your child can learn soccer while accommodating your family's schedule.
Soccer is a great first sport for kids because it develops gross motor skills and encourages a love for physical activity! Our coaches ensure a safe, supportive environment for your child to learn in a way that is age-appropriate.
Our goal is to make participation possible for all children! We offer financial assistance if you are facing financial constraints, and a convenient payment plan is available for anyone at checkout. If cost is prohibiting you from participating, reach out for a discounted rate.
That’s great–the more exposure to soccer the better! Doing both programs can benefit your child. Our program differs from rec soccer in that it focuses on skill development under the guidance of a qualified instructor. Our goal is to equip participants with the skills and confidence needed to transition to a more competitive environment later, if desired. To draw a parallel between rec soccer and Soccer Shots, consider the difference between casual pool play supervised by a lifeguard and taking swim lessons led by an instructor.
We provide all of the equipment needed at each of our sessions. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary. We encourage you to bring water, and if needed, sunscreen.
In the case of unsafe weather, we will notify you of the cancellation via text, which will come from the number 423-427-3727. We aim to notify you at least 45 minutes before the session starts, but weather conditions can change quickly, so we appreciate your understanding if we give less notice.
If a public class is canceled, we will schedule a makeup class at the same time, day, and location at the end of the season (extending the season one week). Please be aware that this makeup session might be during a school break week, as our seasons align with the school calendar. We only guarantee one makeup session (or a refund if the class cannot be rescheduled), but we will make every effort to reschedule all canceled classes. If the scheduled makeup class does not work for you, feel free to join another public Soccer Shots class on a different day or at a different location.
Of course! If you have a child in a 2-3yo program, we ask that one caretaker be available to help on the field. Regardless of age, you are welcome to help your child any time.
We know that life can get busy! We leave registration open so that you can enroll your child in our program at any time, even after the season starts. No matter when you sign up, your child will receive the same quality coaching, engaging curriculum, and soccer fun!
At Soccer Shots, we believe that soccer is the perfect first sport for kids because it develops gross motor skills, builds confidence, and encourages a love for physical activity! We have found that kids that might not initially show an interest in soccer enjoy participating due to our engaging curriculum and skillful coaching. Nevertheless, if you register and your child does not enjoy participating, we are happy to provide you with a credit.
Yes! We would love to offer programs at more locations. We are happy to help talk through ideas on how to make this happen. Please reach out if you have a location in mind!
We are happy to have your child come try a class. We offer trial classes as class size allows after our regular registration period. While we always looking to add additional classes, do note that a lot of our classes become waitlisted before the start of the season, so a trial option is not always available. Please reach out if you are interested in trying a class and we will do our best to connect you with one!
Of course! When you register, the class spot is yours, even if you miss some weeks. Most families do, so don't feel bad, although making as many weeks as possible will help you get the most out of the program.
Our primary goal is to support your child and support you as a caretaker. We are happy to provide tools and tips to make your family experience with sports a good one. For our youngest participants, your involvement with them during class is crucial to their success early on. It's completely normal if your child is shy or reluctant to participate in their first classes. Trying new things, transitioning, getting used to structure, and being with a new adult, can be challenges. We have found that families who stick through the difficult weeks have a better long-term experience. Starting a sport can be an adjustment, but we don’t want it to be high stress for you and your child every week. If your child is still strongly resisting participating after a few weeks, feel free to contact us about a refund as we want to avoid creating any negative feelings about starting a sport.
If you feel your child is better suited for a different class/age group or need to change locations, please reach out and we can make that transfer! We review rosters pre-season to make sure children are in ideal classes, but are happy to adjust in-season too so your child has the best experience possible.
